Organisation active in the hi-tech manufacturing industry. An innovative supplier to the LED industry. The organisation is in transition from the entrepreneurial phase to the next phase, in which building the commercial organisation will be the main challenge.

Job description

The CEO is overall responsible, but especially for business development. The CEO will act in very close contact with the Board. The CEO will guard the need for confidentiality and protect the company IP and key knowhow.
This role will require that the CEO acts as the figure head of the company and has affinity to the contacts with investors and can respond adequately to their expectations.

Key responsibilites

• Overall management of the organisation.
• Expand the technical and manufacturing capabilities of the organisation to execute technical improvements and cost reductions to enable manufacturing at scale and support the commercial growth plans.
• Build the commercial organisation and establish a strong position with the envisioned key customers in the key application segments.
• Establish a basis for an R&D organisation that will develop technology to expand the company`s technology lead and competitive advantage.
• Improve organisational process and arrange adequate staffing of the organisation.
• Play a leading, highly visible role in the forthcoming capitalisation round an the subsequent phase for the shareholders.

Candidate´s profile

• 10+ years experience in a hi-tech B2B business environment.
• Commercial track record in the hi-tech manufacturing industry.
• Experience in doing business internationally, especially Asia.
• Experience in working with and reporting to a board.
• Proven ambitious entrepreneur, preferably with start-up experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Excellent management and communications skills. 

Terms of employment

• € 140.000 - € 160.000 OTE
• Next to this salary, there will be a tailor made equity plan that can create a life changing capital plan.
