The organisation

Pryme is an innovative cleantech company focused on converting plastic waste into valuable products through chemical recycling on an industrial scale. The company brings scale to the market for chemical recycling based on an efficient pyrolysis technology. The market for advanced plastic recycling is developing quickly, driven by a clear and increasing need for circular solutions. The company has started up its industrial-scale pilot plant and is now transitioning into the scale-up phase. Pryme has the ambition to be a major player in the chemical recycling of plastics and secure a large share of what is expected to be a fast growing market. Pryme is a Dutch entity, based in the Netherlands and listed on the Oslo Euronext Growth.

The position

• You will be given entrepreneurial freedom to lead the company through a rapid expansion.
• Together with plant management, supervising the production plant and optimising its performance.
• Developing a clear vision for growth inside/outside the Netherlands and a sound strategy to achieve this, ensuring solid project delivery and operational performance, and maintaining the right balance between short term financial performance and longer term growth.
• Positioning the company as a leader in their field through performance, technology, branding and market differentiation.
• Recruiting and retaining top talent and developing and maintaining strategic relationships.

Candidate profile

• Strong leader with sufficient experience and gravitas to take on this broad role
• Have a compelling presence as the ‘face of the company’ with investors and other stakeholders
• Experience in the (petro)chemical and/or process industry is beneficial
• International experience
• Thriving in an entrepreneurial environment
