The organisation, located in the Netherlands, has developed a leading-edge medical imaging platform and products based on graphics processing technology. The organisation has the potential to precipitate a fundamental shift in the field of medical care by enabling the increased availability of targeted clinical applications outside clinical departments. In order to grow, the organisation needs to further execute and refine its market strategy to drive sales internationally, across all channels, to create maximum value in the business. Expected revenues will grow tenfold in the next three years.  
  
De functie 

The CEO reports to the Chairman, Supervisory Board and the shareholders.
The objective is to drive the rapid development and growth of the organisation, and establish the business as a leading player within its chosen markets.

Key responsibilities 

• Fine-tune and execute the strategy of the company and build the organisation; 
• Manage the company’s international expansion in Europe, America and Asia; 
• Develop strategic alliances, and lead and develop the senior management team; 
• Achieve revenue and profit objectives as agreed with the Board 
• Facilitate the sales process by liaising directly with clients, key opinion leaders and/or business partners as necessary.  

De eisen 

• International business experience, particularly Europe and the US, is essential;
• A proven track record in driving sales of software through distributors/resellers and/or major OEMs;
• Experience with technology marketing (analysts, tradeshows and press);
• Ideal candidates will have a proven track record as CEO, an exceptional sales VP with the potential to make the step towards a CEO position may also be considered;
• Entrepreneur and pioneer with outstanding strategic and conceptual thinking skills. Capable of devising strategy and managing the detail of implementation;
• Excellent interpersonal skills will be needed in order to build the strong relationships that will be critical to the success of the business;
• Is constantly seeking new ways of outstripping the competition in this respect;
• Fluent in English, ideally combined with a second European language;
• Travelling will be a part of the job.

De arbeidsvoorwaarden 

Total salary will be in the range of €150,000 to €200,000 including bonus.

The major incentive will be through the share options scheme which will benefit the entire management team on a successful exit.
