For an international company in the Eindhoven area we are looking for a Director Control Supply Chain Management Worldwide (M/F).
 
The Role

Sector Information
Control is part of the Finance sector and is responsible for financial, economic and fiscal affairs, and also for the internal administrative processes within the company. The department is also responsible for the development and implementation of means and methods for financial planning, internal control and compliance, as well for supplying advice on matters of business economics to our business partners.
 
Position in the organization
The Director Supply Chain Management Worldwide reports to the Senior Director Operations Control and with a dotted line to the Senior Vice President Supply Chain Management. The Director Control SCM plays an integral role in the worldwide SCM management team. He or she directly manages the SCM control staff.
 
Job mission
The SCM Controller is expected to play an integral role in the SCM management team. Within the management team he/she is responsible to define the financial strategy as well as an implementation process, including ownership assignments and detailed ‘bucketing” of the defined action, including monitoring and reporting of progress. Securing execution through cross-sector alignment and managing virtual teams is a key requirement in this job.
 
Job description
Manage the Supply Chain organization from a financial / controlling point of view and ensure that decent business controls are in place. 
 
The core activities are:

• Financial planning and reporting
• Preparation of financial information for management decision making
• Supporting Supply Chain Management and adding value to the business via analyzing and reporting about the actual and expected situation including risks and opportunities
• Next to this drive the business planning/forecasting process in particular in determining budgets/targets and monitoring and helping in the realization of the targets

Strategic sourcing, activities are:

• Focus on identifying, supporting and guiding sourcing decisions
• Structuring towards an embedded approach on taking sourcing decisions both on parts as well as development/support of business cases
• Act as a business partner towards the Senior Director Strategic Sourcing

Profile

• Education: Academic degree combined with RA/RC/MBA or equivalent
• Several years (8-10) experience in finance and administration in a multinational /international operating company of which at least a couple of years as part of a management team with an own business responsibility
• Experience in one or more area's covering logistics/sourcing environment/new business/outsourcing decisions
• Proven leadership skills in leading a department
• Fluent in English in writing and speaking
• Excellent analytical, consultancy and social skills
• Flexible, pro active and communicative personality who is able to act as a professional business partner in a highly demanding and very busy technology environment
• Strong drive with a hands-on, structured, accurate and result oriented working style
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and convince people
• A strategic mindset while having the ability to translate strategy into actionable objectives (short, medium and long-term)
• Team player with a flexible & pro-active attitude
