Director of Media Sales

The organisation 

Our client is a global leader in Internet media delivery. It develops and markets software products and services designed to enable users of personal computers and consumer electronic devices to send and receive audio, video, games and other multimedia services using the Web.
To support further growth, the European gaming division (Real Games) has a need for an experienced Director of Media Sales.

The position

Main objective for the Director of Media Sales is to manage and to maintain the growth of the existing advertising revenues and to further develop new business opportunities in other countries.

The profile

Besides an excellent proven sales track record, the ideal candidate combines both managerial as online sales experience evident from a strong commercial rigor in online advertising sales an the proven ability to lead and motivate people. Critical competencies are focus on results, leadership and team focus.

The candidate has a strong consumer and market focus, is decisive and mature and has a hands on mentality. Furthermore, the candidate is an entrepreneur who is willing to roll up his own sleeves. He comes up with creative solutions and will ‘make it happen’.

International experience is a strong plus. The candidate has fluency in both Dutch and English. Considering the international scope of this role candidates are willing to travel frequently.
