Delamode Logistics, part of Xpediator PLC, is a fast-growing supplier of logistics and freight forwarding solutions with a customer centric approach. Currently Delamode consists of 1000+ colleagues, working from 34 sites and offices in the EU and holds 90.000m2 of warehousing from where 12.000 clients are being served. Delamode will expand their B2B 3PL business in the Netherlands (18.000m2) which is aimed to go live in May 2023 (construction starts at mid-2022).

The position

Join Delamode International Logistics as General Manager for the brand new site in Roosendaal.

Tasks & responsibilities

As General Manager you will be responsible for all site related activities and have full P&L responsibility. You will be building a brand new team ensuring (employee) engagement driven leadership style, enabling safety, productivity and efficiency at site level through continuous improvement initiatives and developing/maintaining customer relationships.

You will be working closely together with colleagues in the UK and report to the Logistics Director. During the start-up you will have full support of (project, engineering and commercial) colleagues.

Next to this you will be responsible for:

• Recruiting, hiring and training employees;
• Co-developing and purchasing warehouse design, hardware and internal transport equipment;
• Ensuring that all service levels are captured, monitored and holding QBR’s with customers;Implementing and monitoring of all group and local HR and Health & Safety policies;Managing facility maintenance and contracts;
• Leadership of your direct reports through performance monitoring, performance management, motivation and engagement;Monitoring invoices and stocklevels;
• All communication with internal and external customers.

Whilst always striving to reach maximum customer satisfaction while driving a culture focused on continuous improvement.

Candidate profile

A people and customer oriented senior leader with a proven track record in building and managing effective logistic operations. You bring a broad experience and are able to act independent whilst being a teamplayer in an international environment. You are an excellent communicator, have commercial awareness and will be able to promote the company brand and culture to internal and external stakeholders.

You also bring:

• 10+ years experience in managing 3PL warehouse operations;
• Excellent understanding of the Dutch and English language;
