Head of Product

The organisation

Nobel Recruitment have been retained by our client to find a Head of Product. They have a reasonable product market fit and is seeking funding to reach their goal of becoming a unicorn startup.

The position

While pursuing funding, the company is focused on product development. They are seeking an individual with experience working in a startup environment who can work collaboratively with the R&D department to scale operations.

As the Head of Product, your primary responsibility will be to lead and expand the product organization. You will be responsible for overseeing product managers and product owners while working closely with our development teams to ensure that we deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers. With plans to scale significantly in the near future, you will be a key driver of our product strategy and vision.

Taasks & responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

• Developing and communicating a vision and strategy for the product portfolio in collaboration with other teams, such as Commercial, Customer Success, and Marketing.
• Ensuring that product development aligns with the overall goals of the company and working closely with the Head of Engineering to facilitate strong collaboration between cross-functional development teams and the rest of the organization.
• Overseeing product managers and product owners to coordinate product development and ensure that they align with the product roadmap and overall company strategy.
• Identifying market gaps and opportunities for differentiation by monitoring the competitive landscape.
• Gathering feedback and ideas for product development by communicating with key stakeholders, including customers, and participating in strategic discussions.
• Contributing to the overall direction and strategy of the company as a key member of the management team.

Candidate profile

• Ability to deal with ambiguity
• Experience working with and bringing together customer success and sales teams
• Has been in a fast scaling environment before, ideally one that has secured funding
• Exposure to both US & EU Markets
• Regulatory / Documentation led environment
