Job description

Within Ericsson Network Services we are is searching for an experienced manager to lead the Service Delivery Unit(SDU) Customer System Integration (CSI). CSI is one of the five SDU's of Ericsson Network Services in The Netherlands.

The Head of SDU CSI reports direct to The Director of LSO-NL. He or she is responsible for utilization, motivation and development of 50 employees (2 line managers, 8 Technical Managers and 40 service and network engineers and solution architects). This span of control can grow to approximately 70 employees. Furthermore it is your responsibility to deliver agreed services in the Customer System Integration for the customers of Ericsson in The Netherlands and some times in the Region. You will work with key account management to develop, create and help grow business opportunities. You are responsible for managing the product portfolio of this SDU in close collaboration with the product area CSI in the Region.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Member of the Leadership Team of the LSO-NL
  • Formulate and implement short and mid term strategy and budget for the Service Delivery Unit CSI, within the context of the LSO-NL strategy.
  • Realize the business goals and KPI's that have been defined for LSO-NL in general and SDU CSI in particular.
  • Manage the operational activities of SDU CSI, according to defined budget, quality and time.
  • Responsible for contract fulfilment for all activities in the CSI Area. Examples are:
           - to build a gaming platform for IPTV (design, (detail)plan and implement),
           - billing systems including applications for end users,
           - implementations of voice mail systems for Converse,
           - OSS/BSS Systems as network management systems (OSS-RC)performance
           - management application (ENIQ) or RAN Configuration Manager (Optimi Xnetmanager), etc.)
  • Identify bsiness opportunities and create future business corresponding to LSO strategic goals. to move up to a more dominant position within the CSI market in the Netherlands
  • Ensure adequate management accounting, monitoring and reporting , in order to realize financial targets and budgets.
  • Staff, manage, empower, motivate and coach a team of 50 heads. Take responsibility for developing and implementing the Human Resources policy (including recruitment) for the SDU CSI.
  • Leads the Leadership team of the SDU (line and technical managers). Take care of performance management and appraisal of the leadership team members.
  • Stimulate and co-ordinate improvement programs.
  • Enforce networking and co-operation between different organizational units within Ericsson to realize a 'one-company approach'

Candidate profile

You have a bachelor/master degree and 5-10 years of relevant experience in CSI and/or telecommunications (affinity with and knowledge of CSI and/or telecommunication technology). As manager you are experienced in managing line managers and a unit. You recognize your self as a change manager, strategic thinker, flexible, analytical and people manager. You are a natural leader with a “ can do” mentality to create, develop and implement business (opportunities) with your team within given time and budget frame.

Your team members are situated in Sliedrecht and Stein. This requires a regular presence on both locations and occasionally in Rijen or at customers in the BeNeLux Area.
