De organisatie 

Our client provides logistic services for a European Group leader in the distribution of pharmaceutical products and services to the healthcare market. The network to which the organization belongs to covers more than 20 countries in the EU. The organization takes care of a complete range of specialist pre-wholesale logistic services across Europe.  
  
De functie 

The managing director is responsible for the development and growth of the business with existing and new clients. He/she must develop the new distribution model in the local market. His/her task is to develop a strong organization and staff to create a solid organization in the market.

He/she maintains close relationships with pharmaceutical en healthcare manufacturers and organizations that are active on the supply chain. Even closer relationships must be maintained with the management of the distributors of pharmaceutical products and services to create synergy and opportunities.

The team consists of a financial director, a commercial director, an IT manager, a quality manager and a warehouse manager.  
  
De eisen 

• Bachelor or Master-degree
• Proven track-record with management of a profit centre / management of a distribution organization of the same dimension and characteristics (high volume / low margin)
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment (a plus)
• Experience with logistics and with the development of new value added services
• Experience with managing commercial relations with actual and potential
