Managing Director a.i. (customer relationship municipalities)

An international B2B company.

The position

Looking for a driven and goal oriented candidate who is passionate about the challenge of transforming the entity into a sustainable commercial business, a growth driven and efficient organisation with an independent profit and loss responsibility. Managing 250 employees (3 direct reports) from diverse educational backgrounds divided in different departments as: Enforcement, Service & Maintenance, Customer Service Center and IT & Projects.

Tasks & responsibilities

In the next 12 months the main focus will be:

• Securing Customer satisfaction (customer relationship with municipalities);
• Putting the company in the best position to renew Contracts by the end of 2023 (European tenders);
• Support in developing a new software;
• Operating the company in such a way that it delivers expected profit for the period 2022-2023;

Candidate profile

• Experience on managing a company with strong operational, ICT, client relationship, HR and process management skills.
• Experience with managing large operations, more than 200 employees (Must have).
• Experience with customer relationship with municipalities.
• Ideally, proven track record of transforming organizations into more commercial driven and efficient organizations.
• Strong Technical background (good understanding of IT and Tech) and a strong drive for innovation (Must-have).
• Experience in leading people from different cultural and educational backgrounds.
• Understand financial drivers of the company to improve its P&L.
• Experience with the process of European tenders.
• Fluent in Dutch & English (Must-have).

The offer

An interim assignment for at least 12 months with possibility to extend.
