For our client, a leading international healthcare services provider, listed on the London and Dublin Stock Exchanges, we are looking for a Managing Director for European Packaging Group. Our client employs more than 4,000 people in 30 businesses across Europe and the US.

Position

• Responsible for the leadership and management of the European Packaging Group and will have direct reporting responsibility for the senior management teams of the three packaging sites in the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
• Play a central role in shaping the strategy of the division in Europe and will influence the organisation at the most senior levels
• Deliver strategic improvements in process, people, and service to maximise profit growth
• Reports to the Managing Director Speciality & Packaging who is a Board Member

Profile

• Master degree in Business Administration, master in Medical Sciences or other relevant masters' degree
• A demonstrated senior professional with strategic business management skills gained in a multinational environment, P&L responsible and managed a scope of 500 fte
• At least 7 to 10 years experience in a senior managerial role in the in the pharmaceutical industry
• A track record of achievement which will command respect
• Strategic thinker, strong personality, determined, good business acumen, stakeholder management, builds and maintains client relationships
• Language skills: fluent in English is required
