Plant Manager
For one of our clients, a large internationally operating manufacturer of advanced industrial products, we are looking for a Plant Manager to be based in the Southwest of the Netherlands.
The Plant Manager will be part of the local MT and will have full responsibility for the production plant. In addition to that, he should support the local MT in the process of reorganization to facilitate the potential growth for the coming years.
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Languages
Fluency in both written and spoken Dutch and English is required
Background
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years experience in working in a managerial position in a large, fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment with at least 150 people
- In-depth knowledge and practice in Six Sigma (Green Belt)
- Profound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and proven expertise in developing and executing plans for “Lean Production” on site. Experience with VSM is a must.
- Training in Management Systems and TQM, time-and-methods is considered a strong plus
- Profound experience with restructuring and change management processes
- Experience with transforming and implementing new management and quality systems
