The position

The Plant Manager will directly oversee manufacturing activities at the site in the Netherlands. The top priority will be the development of the site into a world-class manufacturing site, as measured in terms of service, quality, safety, people development, and costs.

The functional scope of this position includes all aspects of the supply chain, including: customer service, planning, purchasing, scheduling, production, quality control, quality assurance, warehousing, and logistics. The functional scope also includes support groups such as maintenance, engineering, and SERA activities. The scope includes tactical and strategic initiatives.

Profile of the candidate
 

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree
• 10 – 15 years of supervisory and operational management experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience in food ingredient processing
• Experience in an international environment and in a matrix organization
• Strong process knowledge and process analysis
• Experience in a continuous improvement environment
• Senior managerial skills
• Good systems user
• Good financial understanding
• Service mentality
• Food Safety and Hygiene knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in English and preferable in Dutch
• Preferably experience in Asia
• Prepared to travel

Salary conditions

€ 100.000 - € 150.000 OTE
