Senior Project Manager - Product development

The organisation

Our client develops and manufactures innovative, high quality technical products. For confidential reasons, the name of the client will be shared at a later stage.

The position

• Leading cross-functional team(s) of one or more new product development projects, driving the project from the beginning to a successful launch
• Owning the project deliverables, schedules and financials
• Providing leadership and vision and achieving design and project goals by building effective teams
• Driving performance and creating transparency of development projects with a robust, responsive and high performing PMO
• Accountability for the cost controlling of all development projects
• Assuring that projects and resulting investments are aligned with BU and the European PMO strategy
• Managing and mitigating project risks in order to avoid non-accomplishment or failure of projects; Identifying, analysing and prioritising strategic actions required to resolve critical project situations
• Creating a culture of project management excellence
• Resolving conflicts and controversial issues

Candidate profile

• BSc/MSc in Engineering, Business Administration or related subjects
• Proven track record as a Project Manager in an international technical environment
• Experience in the implementation and redesign of programs and change management
• Experience in product development and/or R&D
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma
• Good command of the English language
