The position

Change management position in a dynamic, international environment.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Overall coordination of the plant from a strategic and operational perspective
• Coordinate the local management team in meetings and decision making.
• Directly lead Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance and Customer Service.
• Design, develop and execute the development of short-medium-long -term strategic plans, continuous improvement plans, annual and capex budgets, and their achievement.
• The role needs to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
• Define the strategic objectives for the plant and build the operating agenda
• Propose investments, and prepare budgets, forecast and financial reporting with the finance team
• Put special emphasis on maximisation of production as well take all possible activities to minimise the costs of production of services and products
• Drive a sustainable quality system aimed on quality losses minimise and external claims elimination; drive the quality organization and prepare audits and certifications with the team
• Lead discussions and negotiations with the work council and other local authorities.
• Planning both qualitative and quantitative objectives for the full perimeter of the role team.
• Review, lead, coordinate and supervise site performance to meet business targets. Assure the accuracy and efficiency of consequential Operations.
• Will take active part in setting policies along with other international colleagues.
• Review the structure and ensure the site is capable both from Industrial and talent development.

Candidate profile

• University Degree, preferably Engineering combined with an MBA
• Min. 10 years of relevant experience. Must possess significant experience in business and overall operations (plant) management.
• Has successfully led major change management projects.
• Has led major investment projects.
• Knowledge of forecasting and stock management, Supply Chain experience and Logistics handling including effects in financials.
• Strong knowledge of industrial processes.
• Has been exposed to working and impacting internationally and preferably in a matrix organization.
• Capacity of cost analysis.
• Used to leading of multifunctional teams.
• Strong leadership skills; effective and inspiring in people management; a good team player
• Hands-on, able to combine both strategical and operational aspects of the role.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
