To further develop our business on the Dutch market we are seeking an enthusiastic teamplayer who has the ambition to further develop Agidens international success in the Life Sciences industry.

The position

As a (senior) country manager you are responsibe for the general, financial and sales policy of a strategic important country, in order to increase the market coverage of Agidens. You will formulate the strategy and policies and develop them in line with the goals of the division. You guarantee a close cooperation with headquarters, in line with the Corporation Charter. You will develop a performant organization in order to achieve optimal results for Agidens, keeping high quality and cost-efficiency in mind.

The (Senior) Country Manager Agidens Life Sciences reports to the Director Agidens Life Sciences.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for setting up a business plan in partnership with various stakeholders and implementing, managing and supervising sales processes, and identifying suitable leads.
  • You help developing strategies in consultation with the management of the Life Sciences division, and translate these into specific action to achieve these objectives.
  • You manage the budget of the country/region.
  • You actively take part in the prospection of new key accounts and initiate and maintain frequent and close contact with strategic clients in order to develop a network in the country concerned.
  • You develop initiatives to support our business activities focused on the life sciences industry.
  • You will follow-up new technologies and trends in the Life Sciences industry related to the business unit. You keep your knowledge up to date in function of new developments.
  • You give input to the Executive Committee/Division concerning specific developments (social, market, economic) in the region linked to the business.
  • You compose a close team of highly qualified employees and encourage the cooperation between the members.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Engineering, advanced degree preferred
  • Minimal 5-10 years of experiences with projects (Automation, GMP Compliance) in the Life Sciences industry
  • Proven experience and knowledge of EU and US current Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Ability to ampithize customers questions and challenges. Propose pragmatic solutions based on knowledge and experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Eager to stay informed concerning developments in the Life Sciences industry
  • Distinct commercial attitude and able to communicate with our customers from production floor to boardroom
