Technical Manager

The organisation  

Zenith Amsterdam Terminal is a state-of-the-art clean product blending terminal with extensive value enhancing services, including twelve jetties, butane spheres and the highest capacity road loading gantry in Amsterdam.  Zenith has transformed from a captive,  one-commodity and one-customer cost center into a world-class independent, multi-product and multi-customer diversified hub. The company is continuing to expand and diversify product storage and handling, recently completed a refurbishment program that returned 20 tanks and 2 spheres to active service.

The position

To secure integrity, maintenance and regulatory compliance of all assets on the Amsterdam terminal, Zenith is looking to recruit a Technical Manager.

Tasks & responsibilities

This position manages and directs the Technical team and service providers to ensure that the company’s assets are available for operations, well maintained, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key aim is to develop and maintain an industry leading asset maintenance and project management capability at Zenith Amsterdam. 

Candidate profile

Technical bachelor / university degree or equivalent in engineering. At least 5 years of senior managerial experience, responsible for goal and KPE setting. A minimum of 5 years of experience in oil, gas, chemical or petrochemical industry, in a role with people management, project management and financial responsibility. Demonstrated experience in working with industrial standards, including ATEX, PGS29, PED, EEMUA, API 650 and 653. Fluent (both written and verbal) in Dutch and English.

Competences: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage all stakeholders. Ability to lead a team. Decisive. Excellent presentation skills. Strategic thinking in all areas of the company’s operations, in particular HSSE, personell and contractor management, capital projects and asset maintenance and management. 

The offer

Salary € 90.000 – € 100.000 + excellent secundary package.
