De functie 

The Vice President Food/Feed is P&L responsible for all the laboratories in the particular segment. Is responsible for the development of the business in Asia & Americas, from the current basis to a leading business with revenues exceeding the company's profit standards in close conjunction with the Division CEO's. Reports to the Group Executive Committee on a regular basis and as often as requested. Further build-up of the company through organic growth and acquisitions as agreed with Group management. Develops, together with the leaders of the businesses, short term and long term strategy leading to the collation and preparation of a 5-year business plan and annual budget for each company/country. Lead/ take part in group projects/initiatives/assignments in the respective countries and outside the region as agreed with the group from time to time. Optimize the local laboratory & analyses production processes, systems and equipment in order to meet the company's standards of profitability, customer satisfaction, quality and on-time delivery. Leads and supports the development of the individual performance of the country managers under his/her responsibility.  
  
De eisen 

• MBA or equivalent, preferably in Sciences (food, chemistry, civil engineering, biology etc.).
• Additional Managerial / Financial education is desirable but not required.
• Approximately 10 years of experience, with at least 3 successful years fully P&L responsible.
• Strong operational experience with focus on production, re-engineering and cost management.
• Strong proven management/leadership skills.
• International work experience of at least 3 years, preferably in Asia/Americas.
• Fluent in English.
