From Dux Nova we take care of the recruitment and selection for the vacancy of VP Construction Europe. We are looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial leader with experience in project management who will be responsible for establishing a state of the art development & construction organization for Europe.

The position

The position is meant to bring European projects in a better place during pre-construction phase, specifically with regard to preparing for construction activities, and overseeing site construction management during project execution:

• to build standard processes and procedures based on best practices
• to ensure project team is well prepared for start construction activities
• to professional train and support as well to advise the NewCold construction teams
• to identify buildability with specialists
• to select and contract GC’s and to manage (and oversee) relation with and quality of GC

Tasks & responsibilities

• Advisory role in the pre-construction phase of every project (Subject Matter Expert)
• High-level supervisory role for construction teams in the countries, making sure standard procedures are met
• Ensuring communication and information flow between HQ and construction sites
• Sharing best practices, working on continuous improvement of construction projects
• Relationship Management for suppliers and construction partners
• Strong voice in selection and contracting of the GC for each individual project
• Managing Project Managers Construction for every construction project

Candidate profile

For this position we are looking for an experienced leader with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset. You have a degree in Building & Construction engineering or equivalent at Bachelor/Master level, supplemented with Construction Management (Warehouse and/or cold storage experience is a plus). Due to the international character of the projects, you speak English fluently and you are willing to travel on a regular basis.

The offer

We offer a challenging position within an international context in a growing and ambitious organization. The salary is a maximum of € 160.000 gross per year supplemented with a nice secondary package including a bonus and a company car.
