European promotion foundation for specific vegetables

The Marketing Director will be responsible for the further development and implementation of the campaign in order to create the overall brand value and consumption of the vegetable in Europe. The position will be managing and operating in an international structure consisting of diverse stakeholders.

The duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Director will be:

• To translate the designed campaign further down to the country level and over time, while securing continued commitment from its stakeholders.
• To lead, manage and control the respective advertising agencies in the different countries, to realize the optimal return for the budgeted means.
• To measure and monitor the status of the vegetable consumption and brand value/ image over time.
• To provide direction to and receive input from the different committees and working groups of the foundation.
• To give full account of all the above to the stakeholders on a regular basis, both formally and informally. 

 The job’s requirements can be summed up as follows:

• University degree (Masters)
• Min. 5 years working experience in a marketing and/or communication position in the fmcg/ food/ agricultural industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong project management skills, preferable supplemented of financial reporting/ controlling
• Problem solving: analytical, setting priorities, ability to find concrete solutions.
• Action oriented: drive, will to accomplish and deliver results.
• Conceptual thinker with the ability to develop, implement and follow-up on practical action
• Preferably fluent in English, French and Dutch, other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel.
