The Job description

The Central Purchase Manager Raw Materials reports to the Group Director Purchase. He/she will be working closely together with three other Central Purchase Managers and with the Purchase Managers within the various Business Units. The Central Purchase Manager Raw Materials will define a year plan and budget for dedicated product groups and controls and reports on the realised targets. The central purchase manager will purchase all items within a number of product groups in raw materials. He/she will develop and implement the purchasing strategy for the respective product groups. The manager will focus on purchasing at the best possible prices and conditions for the entire group.

Requirements

• University degree preferably in Business, Economics, Agriculture, etc.;
• 8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in Agri/Food;
• Commercial acumen to recognize and act upon opportunities;
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to see things through to a successful conclusion;
• Proven track record in total cost of ownership initiatives;
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Strong communication skills combined with the ability to persuade and influence people from all levels in the organization; 
• Competitive entrepreneur with a drive for best performance;
• Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 40% - 60% of the time, mainly in Europe);
• International mindset with knowledge of various European languages.

Salary

€ 100.000 - € 110.000 OTE
