Our client offers global Employer of Record (EOR) and Agent of Record (AOR) services tailored to serve two distinct client channels: Market Makers in talent and Independent Contractors. The universe of “Independent Contractors” consists of professionals and workers who contract for work either as an individual or through a form of personal incorporation. Our client supports Independent Contractors by unburdening them from all administrative aspects of their deployment arrangements.

The “Market Makers in talent” channel is comprised of services that match supply and demand for talent and consists of four segments: staffing agencies, search and recruiting firms, mass talent procurement services and consulting/compliance/contracting organisations.

It is a USA based company that is expanding in Europe rapidly. For their office in Amsterdam they are looking for multiple Business Development Manager for different divisions (Search & recruitment services, RPO/MSP, staffing services and compliance/contracting/consulting organisations.

The position

The Business Development Manager (BDM) – Compliance, Contracting and Consulting is responsible for new business strategy and revenue generation. The BDM will be responsible for driving sales results for the Company’s compliance vertical, which includes employee or independent contractor services. through building the sales strategy, devising sales tactic, and creating and selling new business. Strategic selling skills are imperative as the position will have significant contact with senior level executives and prospective clients.

The Business Development Manager will need a broad perspective and regional experience in the compliance, contracting and consulting industry. The market landscape and opportunity in EMEA is significant and will require the successful candidate work collaboratively with the regional functional leaders in executing and delivering on client requirements.

The Business Development Manager is a brand ambassador, they will strive to increase the exposure of our clients' brand across the EMEA region. This includes building relevant industry relationships and working closely with the global and regional marketing teams to build targeted campaigns that drive brand awareness and maximise business development opportunities. This position would require travel across EMEA as well.

In a direct reporting relationship, you will work with the Vice President of Business Development in executing on a sales plan which provides a clear road-map to achieving the region’s goals. You will be responsible for developing regional sales solutions strategies to increase long-term market share.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management or relevant field
  • Four-year degree along with 5-7 years of B2B sales experience with successful track records
  • Self-motivated with prior successful experience in complex sales of an intangible service
  • Track record of consistently achieving revenue, profit, and market share targets
  • Prior experience in a B2B services business, preferably professional services, ideally PEO, HRO or similar
  • Prior experience selling intangibles to the contingent workforce services sector, including employees or independent contractors, compliance companies and consulting firms
  • Knowledge of mass talent procurement industry, software & technology
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires high levels of agility and collaboration
  • Experience in reviewing and negotiating complex contracts, in partnership with finance and legal partners
  • Exceptional leadership skills including the ability to lead teams through transformational change and integration
  • Highest level of ethical standards
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Experience utilising technology and analytics as an integral part of the sales execution and management process

The offer

Our client offers you an excellent base salary, with good secondary conditions. A company car is not part of the package, but you will receive a car allowance.
