The organisation 

IDB Holland B.V. is a leading manufacturer and worldwide distributor of nuclear medicine Lutetium-177, radiopharmaceuticals and sources for nuclear medicine and is part of Advanced Accelerator Applications Company, a Novartis company. IDB Holland B.V. is founded in 1982 and still has the characteristics of a family-owned business. They have their own GMP facilities with an one-of-a-kind production line and with their state-of-the-art logistic organisation they are able to deliver the radiopharmaceuticals all over the world.

The position 

As Therapeutic Head at IDB Holland B.V. you are responsible for the commercial launch of their newest product. You will develop and execute the launch plan together with the Key Account Manager. Part of this plan will be setting up relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to create awareness and, ultimately, selling the product.

Another important factor in this role is Marketing. You will develop all the materials to ensure a successful launch of the product. Market access is a feature that is included in the strategy of IDB Holland B.V. Knowledge of how insurance companies operate and how to influence this within the legislations is an advantage in this role.

Candidate profile 

To be successful as Therapeutic Head you have a BSc degree. Furthermore, you have at least 10 years of experience within pharmaceutical/biotechnological sales and marketing. You also have been involved in launching a new product in the Benelux, preferably focused on Oncology. Besides a proven sales track record in the Netherlands, you also have experience in the marketing of Oncological and/or orphan drugs.

Over the years, you have shown that you can manage the sales process and that you are able to implement new marketing strategies and tactics. You have shown personal initiative and you have built high performing teams. Important is that you feel responsible for the business. Finally, you speak fluently Dutch and English, while French is considered a big advantage.
