De functie

  • Manage and develop current Fleet accounts in the designated channel ensuring design-in of new content, meeting/exceeding plan set for each key account and visiting customers on a regular basis.
  • Identify key partners within the territory drawing up an overview of current supply chain clearly targeting each of the supply partners at the differing tier levels. Create a Pull/Push effect for such Major targets lobbying OEM decision makers in addition to licensing the key suppliers. Draw tenders, quotations and negotiate at various levels of organisation, negotiate and close contracts. Analyse sales patterns and market growth to enable targeted sales, marketing initiatives and strategies.
  • Steer/manage the account team (eg technical, product, marketing, legal, support, local account managers) so that customer objectives are reached
  • Develop solid relationships with Key Accounts decision making unit, enabling fluid channels of communication between Key Accounts and the organisation.
  • Monitor market, propose pricing and business models for current and new customers.
  • Define sales approach/account strategies.
  • Negotiate contractual issues for assigned accounts.
  • Take responsibility for business planning by compiling business data for each account (units/results/turnover-yearly minimum royalty, fixed payments).
  • Produce accurate forecasts (realisation, latest estimate and rolling forecast) per month/quarter/year.

De eisen

The organisation is looking for an experienced sales manager with proven experience in the B2B software market. The candidate must have exceeded his/her target for several years.

Profile of the candidate:

  • Masters degree in IT, Economics or Business Administration.
  • Five years business to business software solution sales experience with large accounts.
  • Experience in selling solutions in the logistics business.
  • Ability to work at varying customer levels with a view to identify and uncover multiple business opportunities through sound business relationships at both top and departmental levels.
  • Strong personality (proactive, persuasive, self confident and professional).
  • Fluent in English and German.
