Commercial Director

The organization

For an international, Dutch contract research organisation (CRO), we are looking for a Commercial Director. This company is a leader in the use of new cardiological techniques in clinical studies. In addition to project management, they also provide the following services: monitoring, safety reporting, core lab, data management and biostatistics. Their clients are amongst the cardiological device industry and pharmaceutical companies. The organisation has a clear goal, namely to support the creation of state of the art cardiological treatments. Together with your team of four, you will realise this potential. The position

As the new Commercial Director you will be at the commercial wheel of this unique CRO and at the same time be the navigator, the entrepreneur and the builder of a new commercial team. Because the organisation is relatively small and flat, you will be taking on more responsibilities than the usual Commercial Director. You will be active on all fronts and when bringing in new studies and driving revenue you will get fresh resources to hire new team members. This is not for someone who wants to just think strategically, you will be traveling a lot and get your hands dirty in order to re-ignite the fire of this well established organisation. Candidate profile

The ideal candidate would have:

• Years of experience as a business developer within the CRO landscape
• Knowledge and experience in medical devices and pharmaceuticals within cardiology
• A relevant university degree
• Clear business development achievements
• A commercial mastermind and able to level with all walks of life
• Preferable able to speak Dutch and English
• Willingness to work hard and give it everything you’ve got
