Commercial Director Emerging Markets

The Organisation
The company is part of a large industrial US corporation with operations in over 30 countries worldwide. The European HQ is located in the Netherlands and employs approximately 170 people. The company provides high pressure hydraulic tools and systems for industrial applications all over the world. From the European HQ the EMEA and APAC markets are being served. With it's worldwide distribution network and sales offices the company is able to meet customer demand.

The Position
The Commercial Director Emerging Markets reports to the Managing Director EMEA & APAC and will be part of the management team together with the Finance Director, HR Director and Operations Director. Responsible for defining and realizing new business opportunities in emerging markets (Africa, Middle East, Eastern Europe). Lead and support country managers in strategy development to drive growth in the various regions. Drive brand recognition and corporate identity among regional workforce. Locate distributors and develop a strong network to realise the expectations for the company's long term growth. Evaluate policy decisions regarding distribution and improve the effectiveness in order to achieve the annual commercial objectives.

The Requirements
* MBA/Master in Business, Engineering etc;
* 10 years commercial experience, including 5 years of sales management in Industrial B2B market;
* Successfull trackrecord in target areas (Africa, Eastern Europe, Middle East etc.);
* Business background in developing distributor networks and new clients;
* Entrepreneur with a strong international focus;
* Willingness to travel extensively;
* Excellent communication skills combined with well-developed management skills;
* Result driven and highly motivated new business developer;
* Multilingual, English, French and knowledge of other foreign languages required.

Remuneration Package
Salary range € 120.000 - € 140.000 OTE
Excellent secondary remuneration package
