The Organisation
The company is part of a large industrial US corporation with operations in over 30 countries worldwide. The European HQ is located in the Netherlands and employs approximately 170 people. The company provides high pressure hydraulic tools and systems for industrial applications all over the world. From the European HQ the EMEA and APAC markets are being served. With it's worldwide distribution network and sales offices the company is able to meet customer demands.

The Position
The Commercial Director Western Europe reports to the Managing Director EMEA & APAC and will be part of the management team together with the Finance Director, HR Director and Operations Director. Responsible for maintaining and extending the business in Western Europe. Lead and support country managers in strategy development to drive further growth in the various countries. Add significant value to the country and territory managers across various disciplines (marketing, people management, analysis etc.). Further professionalize the organisation by combining Sales and Marketing, drive brand recognition and stimulate corporate identity among the workforce. Maintain and tender the distributor network to further grow the turnover in the market. Focus on service and keep an eye on market developments to meet the demand of both the internal and external customers.

The Requirements
* MBA/Master in Business, Engineering etc;
* 10 years commercial experience, including 5 years of sales management in European Industrial B2B market;
* Business background in working with distributor networks;
* Excellent communication skills combined with well-developed management skills;
* Practical analytical skills combined with business acumen;
* Strategic view with focus on execution;
* Multilingual, English, French and knowledge of other foreign languages required.

Remuneration Package
Salary range € 120.000 - € 140.000 OTE
Excellent secondary remuneration package
