Our client is a medium sized flavour company with an extensive specialty portfolio. Because of their succes they’ve been able to grow there business into the Asian Pacific region.

The position

For our client, we are looking for a commercial manager who will connect the Asian Pacific team with the business culture and values in The Netherlands, by driving business in line with long-term plan.

Tasks & responsibilities

As the commercial manager for the Asian Pacific region you’ll be responsible for:

• Developing sales plans with local sales managers
• P&L along all business lines within the Asian Pacific region
• Align all business between The Netherlands and the Asian Pacific region
• Build public image with customers, governments, and employees
• Grow the company by recruiting, coaching, and guiding a local team
• Connect the Asian Sales Organisation – Application Centre – Finance and Operations
• Contribute by accomplishing and driving for results
• Lead and support sales activities where needed

Candidate profile

• MSc. degree in either a business of technical field
• Eight years of experience of successful international business development in the savoury ingredient industry
• Elaborate experience in performance management, business development and strategic planning
• Excellent value added selling skills
• Proven trackrecord in sales and marketing in the food ingredient industry
• Impeccable coaching and training ability
