The company was founded 10 years ago and currently is, globally, the leading provider of valuable Esports insights. The company counts 3 offices, located in Amsterdam, San Francisco and Shanghai!

The company recently received an undisclosed funding to support the growth. They almost doubled in size the last year and count around 20 different nationalities amongst 100 employees!

They strive to be open, eager, playful and thorough!

The position

Software: SaaS solution for the Gaming and Esports Industry. Are you experienced within Esports or do you have a major guilty pleasure towards Esports next to you daily job as Sales Leader? Then take this opportunity to become thé Global Sales Director and work together with all the major players. 

Tasks & responsibilities

As Global Sales Director you will join a fast-growing scale-up that provides valuable insights to companies like EA, Activision Blizzard, Amazon & Facebook, but also companies like Red Bull, Adidas & Nike!

Their unique proposition to provide valuable insights to the world’s largest entertainment, technology, and media companies made them a global market leader.

You will be commercially responsible for taking it to the next level. You will grow existing business, structure sales processes, manage a team of five and will get the freedom to explore new initiatives.

The company grew through mostly via inbound leads. Your goal is to take this solid foundation to explore new business opportunities, set-up an outbound sales strategy and sign new logo’s. You will work closely together with other international offices and will have to travel a few times a year.

As Sales Leader you are a though leader when it comes to Esports, the rapid changes and the commercial value it can have to companies.

Candidate profile

  • Experience and/or extensive knowledge in Esports!
  • 5-8 years of sales (software) experience
  • Proven track record in leading a small sales team, deteremine KPI’s and hitting your own targets
  • You are internationally minded, communicative and energetic!
