Head of Sales
 
Purpose of the Role
 
Head of Sales will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in The Netherlands. Driving SME, LE and Channel sales activities. Achievement of maximum sales growth in line with company visions, values and budgets. Developing sales plans and
determine strategic industries to win new business. Working hand in hand with marketing to achieve best market coverage and brand awareness. International skills are mandatory to present and report back to management.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Reporting directly to the Country Managing Director
  • Successfully manage and win sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Prepare and deliver sales plans with best market and industry approaches
  • Mid- and long term strategic Account Planning
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new accounts 
  • Establish teaming and coordinate with Finance, Legal, Customer Service, and Sales Engineering groups to effectively work out solutions
  • Ensures proper qualification of sales leads/opportunities and provide high quality opportunity management during all phases of the sales cycle
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management on sales figures
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by internal and external clients
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

  • Strong B2B sales experience within technology industries (preferable telecoms)

  • Work experience with global virtual (account) teams
  • Experience with matrix organizations
  • Start-up experience
