The position
As an International Sales Manager, you will take charge of your assigned region (to be determined in consultation) to nurture existing relationships and actively cultivate new clientele for WP Kemper. Your primary goal is to deliver exceptional value and persuade customers to choose the superior quality offered by the company. With a strong focus on building connections and a keen understanding of what it takes to succeed, you will be a proactive self-starter with a natural sense of curiosity.
Tasks & responsibilities
After a thorough onboarding period, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and expanding (potential) relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities with both existing and prospective customers.
- Leveraging cross-selling opportunities for other products within our holding company.
- Regularly visiting and maintaining contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and address their needs.
- Introducing, promoting, and effectively selling products from our comprehensive portfolio.
- Conducting negotiations, including discussions on specifications, functionality, pricing, and other commercial terms, ultimately securing contracts.
- Serving as a knowledgeable point of contact throughout the entire sales process, collaborating with various stakeholders within the DMU.
Candidate profile
Desired skills & knowledge
To effectively carry out your responsibilities and achieve success, we are seeking individuals who possess the following qualities:
- A minimum of education in a technical, bakery, and/or commercial field.
- Experience in selling technical machinery or production lines in the food industry is preferred.
- Self-driven, with a strong motivation to achieve success and a desire for continuous learning.
- Capable of providing valuable advice and persuading customers effectively.
- Skilled in navigating various levels within a company.
- Proficient in English and German and considered in other languages an advantage.
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time to visit clients.
- Your expertise lies in strategically showcasing the distinctive value proposition of WP Kemper's machinery in the market

Location
While you will work from home and serve clients around the world. You will also work out of the office in Rietberg, Germany.
