Falck Nutec BV is a subsidiary company of the Danish multinational Falck A/S, which is more than a hundred years old and employs about 15,000 personnel. Falck A/S is an international supplier in the fields of assistance, emergency aid, healthcare and training. Falck Nutec BV falls under the Falck training division of Falck A/S with twenty training centres in eight different countries.
Falck A/S aims at the prevention of incidents and sickness and the rescuing of persons and damage to property. Preventive and repressive training are the core-business of Falck A/S and are placed in the Falck Nutec division.
Areas of responsibility:
Reporting to the managing director regional director Central Europe (Denmark).
In a dynamic matrix organization the main tasks will include:
- National sales and market development/management of (potential) clients active in the maritime/offshore sector.
- Develop commercial activities in related markets and market intelligence.
- Manage tender reviews
- To effectively provide leadership and guidance to the team of around 10 staff members.
- Management of business plans and budget.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing winning training propositions for Offshore business and will be passionate about what can be achieved in this area.
He or she will have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels with both the customers and collegues.
The requirements for the ideal candidate for the position of managing director will be:
- Education: Bachelor or equal; (min. HBO plus)
- A minimum of 5-10 years work experience in a "offshore/maritime related" environment;
- Experience in a matrix organization (important!);
- Experience in developing sales and market development;
- Pro-active attitude and entrepreneurial spirit;
- Effective leader;
- Fluently in Dutch and English.
