Sales Director Europe

Global provider of independent advice, test and certification services. The company is a global leader in the provision of independent advice, test and certification services for new innovative transaction security technology.

The position

The Sales Director manages a team of 16 Sales Executives/Sales Managers and partners with a focus on the European market. He/she will grow and strengthen the partnerships as well as develop direct sales and trusted networks across the regions for the entire services and products portfolio. 

Tasks and responsibilities

• Translate the company's strategy into sales and marketing strategies
• P&L responsible for the sales targets and goals in Europe
• Act on tactical level; coaching sales managers
• Manage the sales team and drive sales activities to achieve and exceed targets
• Act as thought leader towards clients; being operational at key/strategic accounts
• Support customers at CxO/Director level with strategic advice
• Member of the management team
• Responsible for strategic partnerships (e.g. leading creditcard companies)
• Lead commercial proposal and contract generation and ensure that it brings a strong value-proposition to the clients
• Work closely with regulators, agents, sales teams in the region, represent the company at trade shows, trade association meetings and other events as needed

Candidate profile

• University degree holder 
• Minimum 10 years experience in sales management
• Well connected with local payments and mobile industry stakeholders in the European region
• Excellent in English (writing and speaking)
• Intensive travelling; Officially based in the Netherlands. Living in the Netherlands is preferred but not a requirement as clients are throughout Europe and there are delivery teams in the Netherlands and UK.
