A leading global IT Services provider. For confidentiality reasons, the name of the organisation will be shared at a later stage.
De positie
System Integration is a very important service line within the organisation and it accounts for a revenue of €xxx mil p.a. in the region. There are approximately 2000 FTEs on- and off-shore (including contractors) working on system integration projects in the region.
The Sales Director is responsible for growing the business by steering sales and pre-sales effort, as well as on upsell and renewals. He/She leads an overlay sales team of about 10 to 15 FTEs from Deal Engagements, Offerings, Expert Sales, Solution and Bid Management.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving the sales target for SI in region;
- Manage pre-sales costs;
- Develop sales strategy, pipeline and delivery alignment for SI, setup appropriate sales organization to achieve results;
- Develop and drive joint go to market initiatives with key business and alliance partners;
- Accountable for forecast, budget and actions to close gaps;
- Accountable for delivering high quality account planning;
- Lead, motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve success;
- Qualification and prioritization of deals;
- Accountable for HR matters for sales resources in SI, ensure sales training is embraced and acted on.
Candidate profile
As Sales Director SI, you are a people manager. You have a vision, lead by example and inspire your team members and colleagues to achieve shared goals. You are client focused and have international sales management experience in account planning, pipeline management, developing and implementing sales strategy. You have a successful track record in (over) achieving sales targets and have the capacity to position yourself as trusted advisor and executive sponsor.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of relevant experience in an international IT-services provider;
- Extensive experience in IT System Integration is a must;
- Able to develop and manage relations at CxO level;
- International sales management experience;
- Proven track record in (over) achieving targets;
- Strong leadership skills. Successful track record in motivating and developing good people across different cultures is preferred;
- Experience managing both internal and external stakeholders;
- Good negotiation and presentation skills;
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills;
- Highly motivated, self-starter and hands-on;
- University or HBO degree;
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
