Our client is a Japan based worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of driver information products for cars and motorcycles. With an annual turnover of 1,5 billion Euro and over 8.000 employees, they have sales offices, plants and development facilities at various locations in Asia, North and South America and Europe. Here in Europe with a current sales turnover of Euro 110 million, our client is supplying to several of the major Automotive and Motorcycle OEM’s with a focus on Instrument Clusters and Head Up Displays.

Functional specification

Based in Munich, Germany, you will be strategic and operational responsible for growing business with new German OEM customers. Your priority is to strengthen new business development (including marketing) activity in Germany to support new business opportunities with German OEM’s. Using a greater market analysis, you will focus on defining the business growth strategy. You will be researching and reporting regarding the direction the marketplace is going, the direction of target customers and the direction of their competitors.

Profile

Using your strong network in the automotive industry, you are able to establish relationships with the key decision makers at the OEM’s. Being a senior sales and marketing professional with existing relationships at senior management level with German OEM’s, you prefer a next career step with high visibility opportunities in this medium sized company. You can work in close cooperation with different disciplines and negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups in which you can be both direct and forceful as well as diplomatic. Anticipating future consequences and trends accurately, will go together with being good in establishing clear directions and staying cool under pressure.

Salary indication

€ 120k - € 140k
