Job description

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the commercial team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in expanding the company's market share. He or she will focus on achieving profitable and sustainable growth of the business through increased customer orientation, customer insights and customer intimacy within the defined geographic scope. Responsible for effectively organizing the commercial processes. The Sales Manager will be part of the Management Team and reports directly to the Managing Director. He/she will lead a team of 9 employees.

Your profile

Master degree, preferably a Food Science combined with an MBA, business administration or economic (or technological) direction;

• At least 10 years commercial B2B Food experience, preferably from the flavor industry;
• Relevant experience in a leadership role;
• Enjoys building sustainable customer relations and knows what it takes to get customer insights that lead to new wins;
• Good technical and food understanding and has know how to translate customer needs into winning commercial concepts and propositions;
• Fluent in Dutch, English and minimum and additional foreign language, preferably German;
• Willing to travel intensively (approx. 30%);
• Natural leader;
• High energy level;
• Hands-on.
