The company guides clients within the mobile, payments and transit domains through the complex world of electronic transactions.
The position
The Sales Manager is responsible for selling services and products within this region. He/She grows and strengthens the sales activities and local recognition across the Benelux and Central Europe countries for the entire portfolio.
He/She builds client network with the local Payment (Issuing, Acquiring, Processing) organisations, as well as the Mobile and Transit operators in the region.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsible for the sales targets and goals of the Benelux and Central Europe region
- Visit customers throughout Europe to provide specific expertise and support and close the deal
- Orchestrate multiple service line sales within the region
- Act as Thought Leader towards customers
- Direct business development towards customers, especially customers within the advisory portfolio
- Lead commercial proposal and contract generation and ensure that it brings a strong value proposition to customers
- Work closely with marketing on sales activities and introduce new services and offerings to existing and new customers
- Work closely with regulators, agents and sales team in the region; represent the company at trade shows, trade association meetings and other events as needed
Candidate profile
- University degree holder
- At least five years experience in a sales related position, preferably within the smart card and/or security industry
- Well connected with the local payments and mobile industry stakeholders in the Benelux and Central Europe region
- Current or recent experience and in the financial sector is preferred
- Excellent in Dutch and English (written and verbal)
- Self-starter with good listening and strong public speaking skills; able to use leading and probing questions to provide positive feedback
- Frequent travelling; Officially based in the Netherlands. Living in the Netherlands is preferred but not a requirement as clients are throughout Europe and there are delivery teams in the Netherlands and UK
