The position
The Key Account Manager focuses on the account(s), existing business with fixed account responsibility.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Identify customer specific pain points or competitive disadvantages and create new opportunities in cooperation with sales management
- Develop and sustain the execution of a comprehensive account business plan that addresses client business requirements and provide value add for the client
- Implement an overall multi-level selling-approach and steer all customer related CRM measures
- Lead and implement a consultative selling approach to strategically position the value propositions (e.g. ICT-Solutions)
- Substantially extend the business relation (share of wallet) and consistently grow profitable business on a multi-year basis
- Manage and supervision of all commercial aspects (overall Profit & Loss responsibility) to ensure to meet the specific targets for Order Entry, Revenue, EBIT and Customer Satisfaction
Candidate profile
- Excellent communicator towards internal and external customers.
- Personal leadership qualities.
- Can deal with resistance and clarifies objections without escalations through management.
- Sticks to prices and conditions, you are a good negotiator.
- 10- 15 years’ experience on Senior Sales level in specialty sales IT to Outsourcing Customers (with personnel transfers) in comparable industry.
- You have a track record of at least 1 deal won with a multinational client (annual recurring revenue € 30 - 50 Mio as lead Sales/KAM/AM and experience in other supporting sales roles in international outsourcing deals.
- You have a valuable network on C-level.
- Has excellent oral and written English skills
- Ability to create long-term partnerships on C level.
- Ability to understand the customer’s business and match T-systems’ product portfolio and transform to Account business planning: P&L and balance sheet, End-user understanding, Business model and strategy development.
