The organisation
Our clients sales organization is responsible for growing customer count and revenues in the areas of Digital Media (Publisher, Broadcaster, WEB2.0), High Tech (hardware, software and connected device companies), automotive (Car companies), ecommerce (B2C, B2B and retail related companies) and Key Accounts (Top 500 companies cross vertical like insurance and banking, pharmacy/medical, hotel and travel, manufacturing and business services). This team manages all sales cycles for these industries and sells every service available.
The position
The Major Account Executive will be responsible for the strategic objective of maximizing revenue generation for large and strategic Key Accounts within the Top 500 companies.
You will be responsible for Key Accounts with a focus on selling APS and Security solutions focusing on PCI and Payment environments as well B2B Portals, SAP Applications like SAP HR, BW and CRM and creating a business plan for success that includes marketing activities, pipeline development with the supporting and dedicated telesales team and strategic selling (cold calling, prospect qualification, strategic sales process planning, exploring and closing all new business and revenue opportunities).
Candidate profile
- Six or more years in system/solution sales within the Top 500 companies like insurance and banking, pharmacy/medical, hotel and travel, manufacturing or business services
- An entrepreneurial mindset
- Highly sales driven
- Ideal candidates will bring with them a range of DataCenter, CloudComputing, Hosting and/or Security-related contacts
- Strong background in DataCenter, CloudComputing or Hosting terminology and/or enterprise solution software required
- Four or more years in working with key Systems Integrators and/or SAP, Sap Netweaver, IBM WebSphere, Microsoft Sharepoint or CITRIX-based partners
- Demonstrable and proven track record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quota
- Must have strong knowledge of DataCenter, Hosting and/or CloudComputing concepts and demonstrate the ability to discuss them with intelligence and conviction.
- Experience in successfully executing complex sales cycles with key decision makers
- Formal sales training a must: Solution-Selling and/or Value Selling training preferred.
- Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have a desire to be part of a world-class sales and support organization
- BA/BS Degree
- Must be fluent in English & Dutch
Terms & conditions
The Salary indication for this position is € 130.000 - 150.000 OTE. Besides a good pension plan, insurance, etc.., there is a possibly to get a stock package. A company car is not included, but you will get a car allowance.
