The position

The organization is a market leading high tech company in its domain and simultaneously a company in an exploration phase and with a lot of ambition. In order to accumulate business and investigate new business opportunities for continued growth, the organization has created a new position in the Management Team and is actively looking for a Vice President Business Development.

In the essence, our client is looking for someone that is able to prepare the company for the future, create a compelling vision, new opportunities, and will lead / position / shape the company and its future roadmap from a strategic business development perspective. Responsibilities are diverse but focused on strategy creation, market analysis, innovation, product development, marketing, customer relationship, alliances, new business, etc..

Tasks & responsibilities

• Strategy, Market Assessment, Industry Trends and Long-Range Business Planning
• New Business and Product Development
• Innovation, Intelligence and Analytics
• Work with the other SBUs and related general managers to execute on the strategy

Candidate profile

• Proven track record in conceptual and strategic business development positions;
• Experience in digital/professional imaging (or related) industry (e.g. electronics, sensing, signalling, optics, etc.);
• Proven track record in leading change and being an ambassador for change;
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally;
• Relevant Master's degree (e.g. Business Administration, Marketing, Electronics).
