Capex Asset Engineering Manager

The organisation

Our client has started a significant programme, called "Engineering Excellence", aimed at supporting the hubs and businesses in the achievement of major sustainable performance improvements in Engineering Maintenance. The Manager will be a member of the Centre of Expertise and will guide and support the theme of CAPEX Optimisation Development across the organisation, by guiding and supporting the development and deployment of tools and methods part of Company Asset Management Framework.

The position

The main features of the job will be: Responsibility for setting up the governance of the CAMF-SDB Guiding and supporting the continuous improvement and development of the CAMF-SDB processes and best practices Developing and supporting a deployment strategy Support the ongoing process of developing and managing a CAPEX programme at TSE level Interfacing with the "Use" phase of the CAMF, to ensure seamless links between the various business processes that span the asset lifecycle.

Candidate profile

Experienced consultant-style manager University level education Previous involvement in practicing engineering and/or maintenance Knowledge and experience of running technical/engineering projects or programmes Strong interpersonal skills Consensus builder Proactive Analytical and structured Affinity for IT tools Natural/default tendency to involve others and communicate openly Confident in and able to pull people together in groups and to run effective workshops.
