De functie

To drive the rapid development and growth of the organisation and establish the company as the recognized world leader in its market.

Key responsibilities:

• Achieve revenue and profit objectives as agreed with the Board.
• Lead and develop the senior management team.
• Execute the strategy of the company in conjunction with the co-founder and manage the anticipated exponential growth.
• Lead the company’s expansion into multiple product markets, including possible divestments if and when appropriate.
• Work closely with the Chairman, Supervisory Board and Founders in all matters relating to investor relations including raising additional funding if needed.

To take the organisation to the next step, we are looking for an exceptional commercial leader. The organisation has the potential to grow very rapidly and the CEO is expected to guide this growth and coach the employees in the process. The candidate must have international experience in a multinational organisation, preferably active in microbiology. Frequent travelling is required. Someone with proven commercial experience and excellent people management skills coupled with entrepreneurship.

Candidate`s profile:

• Proven track record in managing a Medtech instruments/disposables company, experience with the microbiology domain is a plus.
• Demonstrated commercial leadership and experience in bringing products from the research bench to the customer bench.
• Broad international sales & marketing and business development experience, particularly in Europe and the US.
• Candidates will have a demonstrated track record as CEO of an early stage Medtech company and ideally have large-company experience. An exceptional commercial executive with general management experience and the potential to make the jump into a CEO position may also be considered.
• Experience with Medtech product development and technology marketing.
• Experience with M&A projects is a strong plus.
• MBA or similar education is a plus.

De arbeidsvoorwaarden

Up to € 200.000,- OTE

Initially the a salary up to € 200.000,- will be offered, plus equity plan.
