De functie 

The Engineering Manager reports to the Supply Point Director and directly manages a HSE-Officer and two Project Engineers. Indirectly 6-10 engineering-employees report to the Engineering Manager. The Manager is part of the Management Team of the production site.

Key accountabilities: 

•  Ensure timely development, alignment and execution of the site investment plan in line with the divisional strategy and according to company processes and standards;
• Project development and execution which enables informed decision making on alternatives, while ensuring adequate progress and alignment with the stakeholders involved;
• Generate technical assessments and analyses to evaluate feasibility or needs and translate this to project plans;
• Ability to drive and develop the engineering and HSE capabilities within the plant in line with the Strategic Plan.

For the Engineering Manager position we are looking for a person who successfully has led projects in the dairy, food or pharma environment (> €1-8 MM). A Manager who communicates facts and thoughts directly with transparency and honesty and is able to build and lead a high performance team. He/she sets clear and high expectations and holds himself or herself and others accountable for the decisions made and the results achieved.

The requirements are:

• An university / Bachelor’s or MBA degree in Engineering Management or relevant areas;
• 7-10 years experience as a project/engineering manager or Sr. Lead Engineer in the food or pharma industry;
• In depth experience on Electronics, Construction and Processing Technology demonstrated by projects executed;
• Proven track record in Project Management;
• Understanding of HSE, Atex, HACCP and Waste Water regulations;
• Result driven teamplayer;
• Analytical and self reflecting self starter;
• Fluent in Dutch and English.   

Maximaal salaris € 100.000 - € 110.000 OTE.
