Head of Piping (Oil & Gas)

As a head hunter we are searching for our client for following position: Head of Piping / India (M/W).

The Company

Our client is a well-established contractor in the oil and gas industries with strong roots in the Far East. For many decades now the group of companies is expanding strongly throughout the world. The newest projects lead our client to new heights and certain products and services within the group are to be streamlined and even prepared for a wider market entry.  

Pre-requisites, Activities and Key Responsibilities

• Graduate in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical or Metallurgical preferably).
• Experience of at least 20 years in engineering/fabrication/welding of critical piping for thermal power projects or Oil & Gas projects.
• Extensive network and contacts at senior level (Procurement Heads/ Decision Makers/Consultants) in the Power or Oil & Gas Industry. 
• Age: 45-55 yrs.
• A leadership role in establishing the business and therefore there is a strong emphasis on both leadership and delivery. 
• Dealing with external domestic & International clients and hence, the executive presence should be of a very high level.
• P&L Responsibility.
• Identification of opportunities and new market niches.
• Strategic development of the company.
• Achieving targets and completing projects in time.
• Reviewing financial reports and defining KPIs and milestones.
• Report and present to the Board of Directors.
• Leadership capabilities with hands-on mentality – lead by example.
• Fast decision taker with strong problem solving capabilities.
