Description

The Manager Operations is leading the Kemira Rotterdam B.V., Manufacturing organization which includes two manufacturing sites. As Manager Operations you are also responsible for the legal representation for local site matters including day to day issues with Works Council, Union, (Regulatory / Compliance matters), this both for manufacturing as other departments.

Profile

• MSc or equivalent in Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience in leading larger site organizations with multi-functional responsibilities and manufacturing complexity.
• Experience in legal & administrative company management.
• Minimum 10 years experience in manufacturing and/or technical management.
• Experience in leading larger site organizations with multi-functional responsibilities and manufacturing complexity.
• Experience in health and safety compliance
• Experience in dealing with Trade Unions, works council and government organizations
• Experience in working with continuous improvement systems (LEAN, SIX Sigma)
• Strong communication skills at top level
• Strong negotiator, Financial acumen, Strategic focus
• Developer of talents
• Manages complexity and change
• Ability to work under pressure
• A natural and charismatic leader
• Excellent oral and written in English and Dutch
