The Manufacturing Director is responsible for directing the Manufacturing plant in Eindhoven. This position will manage all functions engaged in the order fulfilment and of complex capital equipment systems and reports to the MD of the Tjech operation.
Specific deliverables associated with this opportunity include:

• Provide management leadership to production staff, maintenance, logistics and processes engineers (160 FTE)
• Responsible for the quality of manufactured products, their cost and on time delivery to customers internal and external
• Develop and implement effective manufacturing methods and process improvements projects throughout the organization
• Optimise production schedules based on customer requirements, product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply
• Manage new product introduction into regular operation
• Plan and administer procedures and budgets. 
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
• Manage personal and skill set development of people within his area, their career path with focus on succession planning and talent management
• Participate in the WW manufacturing team and acting as a sparring partner for peer managers 

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline. A plus is a related Master or MBA
• 10+ years experience in a manufacturing discipline of which 5+ years second line
• Experience in a High-Tech environment and interaction with highly educated and specialised peers
• Knowledge and track record in quality systems and systematic improvement programs
• Proven ability to interact effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
• Experience in managing significant capital expenditures budgets
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Fluent English and Dutch
